A Long Island bakery, which offers vegan treats, has been accused of re-selling (the very not-vegan) Dunkin’ Donuts in a post by a fellow vegan store that has now gone viral.
Cindysnacks, a 100 percent vegan grocery store in Huntington, alerted the Long Island community to its concerns on Sunday, March 3.
Just a week before, co-owner John Stengel said that the store received a shipment of desserts from The Savory Fig, an independent Long Island-based vegan baker.

A managing nurse working at a correctional center on Long Island was caught smuggling a blade to an inmate, discussing information about other inmates, and more, authorities said.
Yasmin Talbot, age 48 of Levittown, was arraigned on Thursday, Jan. 4 for her alleged monthslong relationship with an inmate, according to the Nassau County District Attorney.
Talbot, a nurse manager at Nassau County Correctional Center (NCCC), was the second-highest-ranking nurse at the facility when, according to the indictment, she started speaking to 37-year-old inmate Christopher Wright in January 2023.

'We Simply Cannot Compete': Store Closes After 34 Years In Briarcliff Manor
After more than three decades in business, a Northern Westchester store has decided to bow out amid changing times.
Wondrous Things, a gift shop located in Briarcliff Manor at 1159 Pleasantville Rd., announced on Wednesday, Oct. 4 that it would soon be permanently closing after 34 years.
Although the store did not specify a closing date, a closing sale will begin on Thursday, Oct. 5, the owners said.
In their closing announcement, the owners said that they were unable to keep up with the modern state of retail.
