Burglar Tried Breaking Into West Chester Home, Authorities Say A masked man tried entering a West Chester home while residents were inside, borough police said in a release.  It happened on the 100 block of South High Street around 10 p.m. on May 6, according to investigators.  Police believe the suspect watched the resident enter the home before trying to get in. Officer Hospitalized With Medical Episode While Arresting Wanted Person, Police Say An Allentown police officer was hospitalized after suffering a medical episode while trying to arrest a wanted person, officials said. Police said only that the officer suffered some sort of medical episode while attempting to apprehend the suspect around 12:45 p.m. Monday, June 10 on the 600 block of N. 9th Street. Emergency aid was rendered on scene and the officer was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The officer is expected to survive. No further details were released.
