Saratoga County resident Derrick Sud-Nieves, of Halfmoon, was arrested Friday, May 10, following an investigation by the Town of Halfmoon Code Enforcement Department. Dutchess County resident Jaylen Shaw, age 22, of the town of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Friday, May 10, in Poughkeepsie by the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task. Rensselaer County resident Joseph Viola, of East Greenbush, was last seen at his Rhode Island Avenue residence at around 10:40 p.m. Thursday, April 25. East Greenbush Police are asking anyone who lives in the area to share home surveillance video that may have captured Viola’s movements. Dutchess County Sheriff's Office members discovered the cats at a home in Dover on Saturday, May 4. According to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, officers responded to the home for a report of animal cruelty. Upon investigation, 90 cats were in poor health and were rescued by deputies and volunteer animal rescue workers.
