Algonquin Student Will Swim In The Olympics This Weekend

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — As the 2012 London Summer Olympic Games unfold, Central Mass. viewers can watch one of their own compete for gold. 

Dorian McMenemy, a 15-year-old rising sophomore at Algonquin Regional High School in Northborough, will swim in the 100-meter butterfly for the Dominican Republic, her mother's home country.

McMenemy will swim in the first heat of the competition, which is scheduled to begin at 5:34 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Saturday, July 28. The results can be found on the London Olympic Games website, under the swimming category.
