LEICESTER, Mass. — The presidential election is less than a week away, and Leicester is reminding any voter who has not completed the census to visit the town clerk's office to update his or her information.
According to Town Clerk Debbie Davis, those who have not returned their most recent census become inactive voters, which may make it harder to vote on Election Day because it will require residents to fill out an affirmation form and show identification as proof of residency.
Leicester's 7,485 voters will head to Leicester Town Hall to cast their ballots Tuesday, Nov. 6, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
For more information, contact the town clerk's office at 508-892-7011.
