LEICESTER, Mass. — Absentee ballots are available at the Leicester town clerk's office for voters who will be absent from town or confined to home on the day of the election, Tuesday, Nov. 6.
Leicester Town Clerk Debbie Davis also reminds residents who have a family member in the military or in college that they can fill out an absentee ballot application by a family member and the town clerk's office will mail the ballot to them.
Furthermore, those unable to vote Election Day can request an absentee ballot application be mailed to them, or they can come to the clerk’s office, fill out an absentee ballot application and then vote in the office.
The application must be received by noon on the day before the election.
The Leicester town clerk’s office is open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Anyone turning 18 up to and including Nov. 6 must register by the deadline to vote in the election.
The last day to register to vote in the presidential election is Wednesday, Oct. 17.
