LEICESTER, Mass. — No injuries were reported after a student transportation van collided with another vehicle after turning out of Winslow Street Thursday morning.
At 7:28 a.m., Mary J. McSorley, 56, was headed down Paxton Street toward the center of town when a student transportation van owned by Van Pool Transportation LTD. out of Wilbraham collided with her 2005 Honda Accord, Police Chief Jim Hurley said.
There were no students in the van at the time, and no one was sent to the hospital for treatment, Hurley said.
The operator of the van, Ruth Smith, 68, was cited with failure to yield at an intersection.
