LEICESTER, Mass. - Henry J. Moreau, 63, died in the comfort of his home on Aug. 16.
He leaves his wife, Annette E. (Dowdy) Moreau; two sons, Mark Moreau of Attleboro, Ryan Moreau of North Smithfield, R.I.; two daughters, Nicole Moreau of California, Stephanie Comeau of Groton, Conn.; five grandchildren; three brothers, Alfred Moreau, Raymond Moreau, Norman Moreau; two sisters, Theresa Preston and Marion Bratton; many nieces and nephews. Henry is predeceased by his brother, Robert Moreau.
Henry was born in Taunton, son of the late Raymond and Gilberte Moreau and lived in Leicester since 1999. He graduated from New England Institute in 1983. Henry worked for Worcester Envelope, Burton Industries, Webster Wire, Industrial Concepts, Inc. He also performed field service and engineering on electrical systems internationally in China, Mexico and Canada.
He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed there from 1967-1968. Henry retired as a Staff Sergeant in 1978, as head of motorpool maintenance. He received an ARCOM achievement metal and was also an honor graduate at the Army Non-Commission Officer Academy.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Aug. 19 from 1-3 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough.
