LEICESTER, Mass. — Leicester drivers are being advised to avoid the Stafford Street area from 6:30 a.m. to approximately 5 p.m. Thursday.
Chief Jim Hurley of the Leicester Police Department said there will a road resurfacing operation under way along Stafford from Sunrise Avenue to Auburn Street. Stafford Street will be restricted to one lane during this time period, so drivers should seek an alternate route or expect delays.
