LEICESTER, Mass. — Throughout the month of January, the Leicester Public Library is offering fine forgiveness for those readers who have built up overdue charges.
According to Library Director Suzanne Hall, those who have bills for past fines can stop by the library, or call or email to have the fees waived.
Additionally, Hall says the library is also offering amnesty for those who have late materials this month. Residents can simply bring them in during the month of January and the fines will be waived.
The program covers Leicester-owned materials only, and strictly late fines. Bills for lost or damaged material will not be waived.
