Hurricane Leslie To Bypass Central Mass.

SHREWSBURY, Mass. - Shrewsbury Weather Specialist James M. Arnold has stated that Hurricane Leslie will pass will not impact the area at all, heading east and out to sea.

Coastal areas to the east and south may be subjected to high surf and minor-to-moderate beach erosion next through next Monday, Arnold said. A high surf advisory has been issued to those areas.

"All the uncertainty regarding the future path of Hurricane Leslie is gone," Arnold stated.

Canadian maritime provinces may not be so lucky, as Leslie may hit them directly Monday or Tuesday.
