How Well Was Snow Removed In Leicester?

LEICESTER, Mass. - A small army of plow drivers took to the streets Friday and worked throughout the weekend to keep the roads in Leicester clear.

In the aftermath of the snowstorm, which dropped 2 feet on the region, roads remain narrow on many streets and some towns, including Northbridge, have called off school to allow more time to clear the streets.

How are the roads where you live? What do you think of the snow clearing job in your town? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

Douggie:

They got the roads open, but that's about it. A lot of streets still had a lot of snow/ice build up on the surface yesterday and they still haven't pushed the snow back. If we get snow again this week, many roads will be one lane.

The highway dept did a great job plowing my street!
Thank you!

Jim Gonyea:

Road outside my house was passable Saturday morning (if one were to have chosen to drive) and widened Saturday evening. Good job by the highway crews and no complaints from me.

The Highway Department has done and is continuing to do a great job!
