LEICESTER, Mass. — To raise money for the Leicester Library restoration fund, residents are organizing a bus trip to Foxwoods for Friday, Sept. 7.
Proceeds from the trip will help raise money to restore the town's historic library, which was built in the early 1890s.
The trip will include round trip luxury bus transportation, free buffet or $15 toward any other restaurant or store, a chance to win $500 in slot machine play and a $10 Keno play, as well as bingo, and door prizes for the bus ride. Tickets cost $25 per person.
The trip will leave from Leicester Town Hall at 6 p.m. Sept. 7 and return from Foxwoods at midnight.
