Fundraiser For Juvenile Diabetes Research: 7 p.m. Leicester residents David Stanick and Tracy Collyer are running the Boston Marathon to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Help them meet their fundraising goal at the kick-off party. Appetizers, dancing, 50/50 raffles and more will be featured. Halligan's Sports Bar and More, 889 Southbridge St.

Saturday, March 2

Leicester Library Celebrates Leicester: 7 p.m to midnight. Fundraiser for the Leicester Library Campaign features live music by Beatles For Sale, dancing, appetizers, a cash bar, door prizes and an auction. Leicester Country Club. 1430 Main St.
