LEICESTER, Mass. — Hezekiah Stone's Coffeehouse has another talented performer lined up for March, with folk singer Ellis Paul returning to the Rochdale venue.
Paul is one of the leading voices in American songwriting and one of the top songwriters to emerge out of the fertile Boston folk scene, according to event organizer Peter Swanson.
He helped create a movement that revitalized the national acoustic circuit with an urban, literate, folk-rock style that helped renew interest in the genre in the 90's, said Swanson.
With concerts on the first Thursday of each month, Hezekiah Stone's lineup features a variety of veteran musicians on the local, regional and national singer-songwriter circuit.
The show begins at 7:30 p.m. on March. 7 at Christ Church at 1089 Stafford St., Meadow Lane, Rochdale.
Upcoming shows include Regie Gibson on May 5, and Holden resident Deborah McDonnell and Friends on June 5. Most shows are $15.
